The Board of Directors of The Community Outreach is pleased to announce that Gary Helder has been named the Executive Director.
After earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Gary enjoyed a 33 year career in insurance operations with the Sammons Financial Group providing leadership in accounting, technology, administrative operations and facilities management. His extensive senior management and leadership experience carried over to a very active role within the community through serving on the Board of Glory House and involvement with Hope Haven International, the Center of Hope and the new Sioux Falls Ministry Center. Gary “is pleased to have the opportunity to lead such a dynamic organization” and is looking forward to working with staff and Board members to ensure The Community Outreach can “continue to build on the work for which it is so highly regarded.”
