The Community Outreach is getting a little help reaching out to the community this winter season with the help of Keloland News. Twice this season, the ministry has had an opportunity to sit down with Keloland to discuss needs in the Sioux Empire and how the ministry is addressing them.
First, we went Inside Keloland to discuss the Holiday Assistance fund and the role it plays in helping to keep the lights on for families in need. View that entire interview here:
Next we were able to share a little more in depth about how we interact with clients to make sure that we are providing a hand-up to those who are experiencing difficulty. We were fortunate enough to have a client share with us how the ministry was able to make a difference in her life.
We are looking forward to working with Keloland in 2015 as the ministry has been named as a recipient of the Avera Tradition of Caring PSA Grant. Through this grant, the ministry will be able to communicate our impact and services to the Sioux Empire!
