Training

Our Genesis Mentor Training provides a comprehensive framework to journey effectively with Genesis mentees.

During our comprehensive training, you will:

• learn the history, mission, vision and values of The Community Outreach

  1. explore the qualifications and framework to be a good mentor

  2. discover the mindset and decision making process of those in poverty

  3. learn the comprehensive expectations of a mentor serving with the Genesis Mentoring Program

  4. participate in a group activity to survive a month in poverty while upholding your personal values

We typically offer Genesis Mentor Training on a quarterly basis/ and as needed. Sessions are typically from 11:00 to 2:00 at the Empower Campus. Lunch is provided to those who register in advance!
